Dragon

Let this be stated first: the concept of a "dragon" does not exist in this world. The name appears in no encyclopedia, no history, no folklore.

What follows is a record based solely on Alvina's own testimony.

— As a young child, she was attacked in the forest by a pack of Savage Lupus. In the moment she braced for death, a creature appeared — a winged giant with the body of a great reptile — and burned the pack away with a breath of flame, saving her life. —
She calls that being a "dragon." Ever since, she says, images of flame and that word have returned to her in dreams, over and over. And yet, from that day to this, she has never once doubted. Dragons are real. Someday, she will prove it — that is the origin of the wizard called Alvina.

Yet she is the only witness in this world. There is no physical evidence, and a search of the Academy's collection has turned up no record of any such creature.
