Alvina

A girl born in a small logging village deep in the mountains. She comes from common stock and has no family name. Her friends call her "Al."
She was born with white hair and pale skin, though both of her parents have perfectly ordinary coloring. As a small child she was frail, quiet, and obedient — or so the story goes.

What changed her life was an incident in the forest. Attacked by a pack of Savage Lupus, Alvina claims she was saved by a winged "something" with the massive body of a great reptile, which drove off the pack with a breath of flame. Ever since, she has called that being a "dragon" and dreamed of proving it exists. She reportedly caused her village no end of worry — including attempts to walk into the dangerous forest all by herself. Around the same time, a strange phenomenon began to appear: whenever her emotions run high, her hair turns a fiery red, and embers drift from her eyes and body. The cause remains unknown.

She is fiercely devoted to fire magic — above all, fire magic modeled after her dragon — and shows extraordinary talent when it comes to raw power. Fine control, on the other hand, is not her strong suit, and accidents tend to follow her around. Scouted by the Academy for her talent, she left home alone to enroll in Astrafora. Ever since her first taste of a "rolled pancake" in the big city, she has had a serious weakness for sweets.
